Beat the heat
Here's an amazing idea for a summer wedding:
Hand-drawn fans with little portraits of the key players as a guide!
No more whispers of "WHO'S THE CHUBBY ONE WITH THE CUTE HAIRCUT?" or "ISN'T THAT THE ONE THAT SHE DATED FOR THREE YEARS IN COLLEGE?" They may be thinking it, but at least they won't have to ask their seatmates during the ceremony! :)

Hand-drawn invites
I LOVE the whimsical style of these hand-drawn invites created by Anna Bond of RIFLE.
Here is one from a lovely wedding taking place in the mountains of North Carolina:
A closeup of the map and the whole package:
and a view of the RSVP website she designed to match the invites...
The RSVP website is brilliant. Here is another take on it, different style altogether:
And finally, an elegant NYC wedding, with a bride who has a penchant for astronomy maps:
See more of Anna's work at her portfolio, and her blog. Special thanks to Green Wedding Shoes, who brought all this loveliness to my attention!

Feather your nest
A little treasury to add some whimsy to your day...
oh how I wish I were able to make this image "click-thru-able". Because I am lazy, if you want to look at the items more closely, you will have to go to make note of the seller name and then go to Etsy and do a search yourself. Shameful, I know. But worth it, I think.

cottage obsession still intact
I found another person obsessed with tiny houses: Jane at PetiteHouse. I have often wished I could have different Etsy stores entirely devoted to my various (and varied) interests. Lately it seems I have stuck with felt, but that could all change tomorrow. Jane's store is perfectly curated... and mostly empty right now. :) Is is a lovely tiny house wonderland, and I want to move there. ....sigh...
ps. she has a nice little blog too: Unconditional Love

Another treasury!
Whenever I get a treasury on Etsy, I always feel like I have won the lotto or something! My offerings this go 'round:
The Eternal Question: chicken.... or egg???
There's just something so darn perky about chickens and their eggs. Don't deny it. You feel it too.
